" Like my relative, the Ostheimer's white owl, I am nocturnal, as you can see from my thick, dark plumage. Of course, my feathers aren't blue in real life, but when I fly at night, they almost seem to give off a blue shimmer. Another special feature of mine is my large, round eyes that glow in the dark."

" I am the white owl from Ostheimer and I like to be called the snowy owl. My soft, dense plumage allows me to glide through the air almost silently in flight. And since I hunt at night, it is especially important that I have very good vision and good hearing. And so on I can hear even the smallest mouse scurrying across the forest floor."
