Connetix Tiles was officially launched in June 2019 by two Australian families who met when their children started primary school together. After seeing that their children not only enjoyed playing with the magnetic builders, but also learned while doing so, they decided to create their own version that was strong and safe while providing a clearer refraction than the magnetic builders then available on the market.
