A sand ball track is a truly unique sand toy for children from about 3 years old up until well into school age. Its special appeal and educational value lies primarily in the freedom of construction. Using the accumulated sand, the individual concave profiles can be stacked together at varying degrees of steepness. This allows children to experiment with how steeply and quickly a marble runs along the track. The high degree of variability keeps the game exciting and interesting. The older the children, the more imaginative the experiments with the individual marble tracks can be.
The basic set of the Glückskäfer sand ball track includes 23 pieces of varying lengths: six 20 cm pieces, seven 16 cm pieces, four 10 cm pieces, one track with a hole, and five marbles. All balls and marbles up to a diameter of 22 mm can be used.
The beautiful, solid ash wood has been treated with only oil, giving it a completely natural feel. The cotton net makes it easy to transport the marble run anywhere there's sand for setting it up.
In addition to the basic set, Glückskäfer also offers a bridge-tunnel set with which the sand ball track can be expanded.
