This surface is used to stimulate the sole of the foot for the prevention and rehabilitation of longitudinally or transversely collapsed arches. The Chestnuts train your balance and core and their protruding spikes are used in reflexology foot massages. The varied, hard surface, dotted with chestnuts of different sizes and shapes, intensively massages every millimetre of the foot, and maximises blood circulation. The variety and hardness of the surface will strengthen the foot, ankle, knee and mid-body areas of novice walkers. In older children, this stimulates the ball of the foot and exercises the longitudinal and transverse arches of the foot beautifully. In adults, it promotes venous gymnastics, which is important in the fight against thrombosis and varicose veins.
